If you’re flying, you’ll arrive at , while cruise passengers dock in Bridgetown. The bus system is good, fast (sometimes white-knuckle fast) and cheap. Renting a car is a good but expensive option for exploring the island (Americans should remember to drive on the left-hand side of the road). Rum and driving don’t mix, so bus, shuttle or taxi to the festivities. You can also rent a moke, which is the Barbados equivalent of a beach buggy.
