Take a dip,
jumping in the water in just your suit for the Loony Dook.
Edinburgh Airport
Fly into (EDI) or take Scotland’s Citylink or Mega Bus services from other UK cities. The Citylink will get you to the town center, and service is free throughout the evening to ensure revelers get home safely. If you can’t get to Edinburgh, join the parties in Glasgow, Aberdeen, or Stonehaven, where locals swing fireballs around their heads down High Street.
Where to stay
The best hotels fill up quickly (and usually have a 2- or 3-night minimum), so book early. It also helps to arrive in Edinburgh early, too.
