Getting There

Beyond the fest
Consider adding on some sightseeing either before or after the big weekend. Nearby Huntsville is the home to groovy US Space & Rocket Center, where you can learn about the history of space exploration—you can even drop your kids off at Space Camp! Or, you can delve into other areas of American history: The Civil Rights Trail passes through Mobile; and the childhood homes of authors Truman Capote and Harper Lee and country music legend Hank Williams Sr. are all nearby.
