Pack light
It’s usually hot or raining (or both).
Don’t drive to the fairgrounds
Use Gray Line Tours or the Jazz Fest Express to get to and from the festival.
Sample Creole cuisine
Try a po’ boy sandwich stuffed with soft-shell crab, a steaming bowl of jambalaya or attend a crayfish feed. Chase it all down with a daiquiri in the French Quarter.
Scout out intimate late-night shows
Check out the Livewires concert calendar.
Hit the water
A fan boat into the swamps is a fun, exhilarating way to see the area and bayous.
Getting There
