Camp
We highly recommend sorting out some tents and gear and treating Paleo like a week-long, musically-inclined camping trip. It's much easier to get into the festival attitude shift when you've got time to open up. However, if six days of mud sounds like too much, Nyon is a tourism town and has lots of accommodation. Book early.
Visit important museums for FREE
Nyon is a lovely historical town of narrow streets and postcard architecture with a scenic position on Lake Geneva. If you get four-, five- or six- day passes to Paleo, you get free access to the local Roman Museum and Musée du Léman; the latter covers Lake Geneva and its ecology, along with other science affiliated topics.
Tuck in to regional cuisines
Don't miss the World Village and the associated delicious food that comes along with the focus region.
