Getting to the Gorge
Escaping city life and entering scenic views is a great kickoff to your Paradiso adventures. Regular parking at the amphitheater is included with the purchase of your ticket but there are other transportation options if you’re feeling extra green. Book a shuttle service with Rock & Bus, which provides roundtrip rides for your party crew from the city of your choice, or carpool using Ricky Ride, Zimride, or Ridejoy.
Conquer the Weather
Paradiso occurs at the height of summer and there are hardly any trees, which means you’ll be exposed to the sweltering sun. Conquer the weather by wearing proper clothing, protective accessories, and sunscreen. Bring a Camelback or a reusable water bottle to ensure that you are hydrated. Find shade if you can and remember to relax in between sets.
Wine and Dine
Spend a few days before or after the festival to experience the finer side to Quincy County. Four wineries are a short drive away from The Gorge, including the Cave B Estate Winery, Jones of Washingtown Wine, and Beaumont Cellars. Sip on a glass of Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon as you indulge in Quincy’s grandiose scenery.
Camping Tips
The campground opens at 1 pm on Thursday; all sites must be vacated by 12 pm on Sunday. VIP campsites (Premier, Terrace, and Gold) usually sell out quickly so if you’re into the lavish festival lifestyle with showers, private restrooms, and other glamorous amenities (like free coffee and pastries), book now!
