Choose your camping style
There are no formal accommodations in the park. Many make the traditional NZ choice and sleep in their caravan, or you can reserve a spot to pitch a tent. For those needing a little more luxury, higher-end glamping is offered with safari tents, actual beds, and food service. Or, anchor your yacht offshore and swim to shore.
Explore nature
Popular Tapapakanga lends itself to easy rambles throughout the park to discover Maori culture, New Zealand wildlife, and swimming. Lots and lots of swimming.
Pack those costumes
Transformation is an important element of Splore, largely achieved through putting on costumes and becoming another you. Expect sequins, feathers, body paint, fancy hats, and tight and revealing clothing.
