Getting There
Fly to Chicago via Chicago O’Hare International Airport. It’s forty minutes away from the festival venue, so arrange transportation to and from the airport ahead of time.
Book a Hotel
Because Spring Awakening is not a camping festival, be sure to book a hotel or Airbnb early. This festival is held in Downtown Chicago, so there are plenty of great options that are close to the festival grounds. The Marriott at Medical District and the Lugo Hotel are within walking distance of the park, giving you a hassle-free festival experience.
Download the App
The Spring Awakening app, available on iOS and Android, includes information about the schedule, festival map, and alerts from the festival organizers.
Explore the City
Because the festival is set in Downtown Chicago, take some time during your weekend to check out some of the local scenery. Visit the Navy Pier, check out Cloud Gate, and other local attractions while you’re in town.
Eat Up
Chicago was recently named the best restaurant city by Conde Nast Traveler. Spring Awakening celebrates that title by having some of Chicago’s best restaurants present at the event. While at the festival, be sure to check out some of the cuisine and see exactly why Chicago earned such an esteemed title.
Afterparties
Everyone loves an afterparty, and React knows exactly how to throw them. Every year they partner with some of Chicago’s best clubs to create official afterparties fit for a festival this epic. Be sure to check the website to know exactly where to be once the festival grounds close.
