Not everyone gets to kick off their summer in Iceland, let alone at one of the most unique festivals in the world. Each summer solstice for the past four years, Secret Solstice has taken advantage of the land of fire and ice's nonstop sunlight this time of year to provide its attendees an unforgettable, music-filled weekend of raging.
Between headbanging to Slayer, dancing to Stormzy and screaming to Gucci Mane, festival-goers could take a break from the diverse musical lineup and get their thrills on carnival rides, rave inside a 10,000-year-old glacier, or watch acoustic performances in a 5,000-year-old, eerily lit lava tunnel.
Enjoy our portraits of festies who came ready to rage all day and night, shot by talented cameraman Ian Young.
